To build on and develop the candidate’s knowledge and experience this course covers the responsibilities of a contract manager from asbestos licence renewal to company management systems for Plans of Work and Health & Safety.

Course content includes:

  • Legislation and Plans of Work
  • risk assessment
  • COSHH
  • emergency procedures
  • waste management and disposal (Hazardous Waste 2005)
  • instructions and training
  • licence renewal requirements
  • latest HSE enforcement information and statistics

To attend a remote training course a candidate will require:

  • Access to a device capable of running the Zoom app.
  • Have an email address to which the training invitation can be sent.  When forwarding a booking form please provide the candidate’s individual email address. Each booking requires a unique email address, two or more candidates cannot be booked using the same email address.

This two-day remote training course is delivered via Zoom

For Members the fee is £230 (exc vat)

For Non-Members the fee is £260 (exc vat)

If access to major construction sites is required asbestos removal managers will require a CSCS Card.

Temporary and skilled worker CSCS Cards are available from ARCA under the AMI Skills Card Scheme.
