Saturday Training Courses for Operatives and Supervisors

ARCA has asbestos removal operative and supervisor refresher training courses available on selected Saturdays.

Operative refresher courses are available at ARCA’s Burton and Rayleigh training centres, and remote courses via Zoom. With the Supervisor refresher course available at ARCA's Rayleigh training centre and remotely.

Members can block book these courses for their teams if required, and training credits can be used against these Saturday courses.

Operative Refresher courses

This course ensures that candidates receive refresher training to further enhance their knowledge and practical experience to continue to work safely and effectively as an operative.

Candidates will be given a multiple-choice test along with practical tests (both carry an 80% pass mark). Successful candidates will receive a certificate which will state the elements covered.

Remote courses

To attend a remote training course, operatives will require access to a device capable of running the Zoom app.

Also, ARCA will need individual email addresses for each operative booked onto a remote course to which the training invitation can be sent.

Supervisor Refresher courses

This training course is a general industry refresher for asbestos removal supervisors to update their knowledge of asbestos removal practices and procedures. Candidates will be given a multiple-choice test along with practical tests (both carry an 80% pass mark). Successful candidates will receive a certificate of attainment which will state the elements covered.

Remote courses

To attend a remote training course, supervisors will require access to a device capable of running the Zoom app.

Also, ARCA will need individual email addresses for each supervisor booked onto a remote course to which the training invitation can be sent.
