October is an excellent month for audits

ARCA auditors continue to successfully carry out audits of member’s performance on asbestos removal sites, in fact October was an excellent month with 58 audits completed.

“Currently, we are finding plenty of sites - schools, hospitals, demolition works - where we can audit member’s performance, so there is a substantial amount of work out there, even if not as much as perhaps this time last year,” commented Geoff Silver, Membership Compliance Manager for ARCA.

ARCA has also seen an increase in members booking additional ARCA audits. In October, the number undertaken was double that in July. A lot of members do see how additional external audits support their overall audit programme.
