Licensed Asbestos Removal Supervisor

S. J. Walchester are seeking an experienced Licensed Asbestos Removal Supervisor to join our team. As an Asbestos Removal Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing asbestos-related projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe work environment. This is a critical role that requires strong knowledge of asbestos removal procedures and safety protocols.

Duties:

• Coordinate and manage asbestos removal projects from start to finish
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify asbestos-containing materials
• Develop and implement effective asbestos abatement plans
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines
• Supervise and train asbestos removal crew
•  Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion
• Supervise air monitoring and clearance testing
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Full-time Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 16:30 on site (Flexible)

• Full Driving Licence
• IPAF
• PASMA
• CSCS Gold Card (Level 3)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in asbestos supervision
• Strong knowledge of asbestos removal procedures and safety protocols
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in asbestos removal
• Excellent understanding of applicable regulations and guidelines
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
