All businesses need effective leaders and managers. As the asbestos removal industry is licensed, these skills are also crucial to the safety and effectiveness of the workforce, and the reason why the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) focus on leadership and management when carrying out licence assessments.
The ARCA ILM Leadership & Management qualification has been specifically developed for new and aspiring managers in the asbestos removal industry to develop the knowledge and skills they need to manage, motivate and lead others. So enabling them to improve their own performance and that of their workforce and business.
This qualification consolidates management skills and experience, and develops the capabilities and personal awareness needed to be a leader, including; how to motivate a team and strategies to develop the people managed; develop strategies to support the management of challenges and opportunities that arise; effective communications to support team activities.
Registration onto this qualification will enable the candidate to become a student member of the ILM and apply for membership to the Asbestos Removal Management Institute (ARMI) for those who already hold the relevant asbestos qualification required for ARMI membership.
